What to Expect
Beach volleyball is its own discipline. Sand changes everything - positioning, footwork, how you read the ball, how you cover the court. None of that transfers automatically from indoors. TVA Beach Academy is built to teach those specific skills from day one, whether your athlete has played for years or is just getting started.
Every session is coach-led and structured. Athletes work through serve, pass, set, attack, and defensive fundamentals on the sand, then apply those skills in competitive reps. The goal is real development, not just supervised play.
Faith is not optional at TVA. Beach Academy is a place where athletes grow in their sport and in their relationship with Christ. We want kids to come out, compete hard, and learn about our awesome Creator. No experience required to belong here.

Beach Academy runs separate sessions for 10-12u and 13-18u athletes across both boys and girls. Everyone has a place on the court.

Whether your athlete has never touched a volleyball or has been playing for years, Beach Academy is open to all. Show up, learn, compete, and have fun.
Off-Season That Pays Off
Summer sand training builds athleticism that carries back indoors. Sand players develop faster feet, stronger reads, and more confidence on any court.

TVA partners with Fellowship of Christian Athletes to host a camp where volleyball meets faith head-on. Athletes from across the Central Valley come together to compete, be coached by TVA staff, and hear the gospel in an environment built for growth.
FCA camps are open to all youth athletes regardless of experience level. Whether it is your first time on the court or you have been competing for years, this camp is for you.
Volleyball Doesn't Stop in Summer
Beach Academy runs each summer. The rest of the year, TVA Boys and Girls Indoor programs train through the competitive season. Same coaches. Same mission.
